A Message from the Principal

Dear Parents and Carers,

Pentecost Sunday

This coming Sunday we celebrate the feast of Pentecost. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to fill the hearts of the disciples with courage and enable them to go out and spread the Good News about the Kingdom of God. We can pray to the Holy Spirit to provide us with the strength and courage to live our lives as witnesses of Jesus. Please see the Family Educator's Corner for more information and prayer opportunities.

We currently have 49 responses out of a possible 200 for our parent survey. Please ensure that you complete the survey so the children can get their reward. We look forward to seeing how our school is rating and hpw we can work together to make our great school even better. Thank-you to those who have filled in the survey already.

Parents and Friends

Huge thanks to those who attended the Parents and Friends general meeting yesterday morning in person or via Zoom. The fundraising and social activities this year have been a great success. Thanks to the P&F Committee for their consideration and support of the school's fundraising efforts. 

Road Safety Warning

Following my reminder to parents about the need for extreme caution around the school, I received more accounts of parents driving through the crossing while texting, cars narrowly missing teachers and staff on crossing duty, parents making three-point turns on the crossing, parents stopping in no stopping zones and other near miss situations with children almost hit as cars turn into driveways. None on us want our children injured or worse. The impact on the family and the community of a devastating accident would last a long time. The few seconds you saved is not worth someone's life.

Please exercise care and caution around the school to ensure everyone gets home safely.
