Vinnies Winter Appeal

This Monday, our school organised a pyjama day to raise money for the Vinnies Winter Appeal. The children came to school in warm pajamas and brought in a gold coin donation. We raised a total of $665 thanks to everybody who came to school in pyjamas. The money we raised will go to the St Vincent de Paul Society which will use the money to provide for the under-priveleged in our local area. Thank you to everybody who contributed to this fund raising!

Religious Education in Classes

Year 4 has been learning about the 2nd Rite of Reconciliation. They listened to storytelling explaining exactly what occurs and wondered about why we as Catholics participate in Reconciliation.

Year 3 has been learning about Saint Vincent de Paul and the gifts he received through the Holy Spirit. The students also got to investigate what the St Vincent de Paul Society does for the vulnerable in our local community.
