World Book Day

World Book Day is on April 23rd, we will celebrate by sharing our favourite books in class. Please encourage your child to bring their favourite book to school in Week 1 of Term 2. Please ensure books are named before being brought to school. Many thanks.

Library Borrowing:

The students are enjoying borrowing from the library and earning stickers on their loyalty cards (Years 3-6). We have some great new titles and the children have been encouraged to borrow for the holidays. Wishing everyone a happy and relaxing Easter/school break with lots of reading, fu and family time!

Please remind your child to bring a named library bag to school each week.

Borrowing Guidelines:

Prep students - 2 picture or non-fiction books
Yr 1/2 students - 2 picture, non-fiction or short chapter books
Yr 3/4 students - up to 3 books of choice
Yr 5/6 students - up to 3 books of choice

Books are exchanged weekly/fortnightly. Lengthy chapter books may be kept for longer.

Book Covering:

Assistance with book covering means new titles reach the shelves faster. Volunteers are always wolcome, contact will be supplied and this can be done at home. Please pop into the library on a Wednesday/Thursday or email me if you are able to assist.
