Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden 

This week was the last SAKG class for the Years 5 and 6 for 2026. Over the semester we have enjoyed getting out in the garden planting seeds and winter vegetable seedlings, tending to the animals and spending time in the kitchen. Week 8 we cooked Nasi Goreng, Pita stuffed with Spiced Potato & Herbs and Banana Bread. This week to celebrate the last class, we enjoyed Yellow Chicken Curry (always a favourite!) Spinach, Leek and Feta Slice and for dessert Apple Crumble with Ice-cream as a treat!

A huge thank you to Don's Mum, Rachel who comes in to assist each kitchen class. It was also fantastic to have Eli's Mum and Dad, Bec and Viv, assist this term. Next semester the Years 3 and 4 class will be looking for some volunteers. If you can help in anyway- there is no weekly commitment, please contact Briony Zagame or the College.
