End of Term 2

As the term comes to an end, we would like to thank all of our students, families, and staff for a great term. We wish everyone a safe, happy, and relaxing school holiday. Enjoy the break, take some time to rest, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back next term.

Farewells

Before the end of the term, we farewell three valued staff members. We wish Peter Rathjen all the best as he returns to Melbourne, Erin Dohrmann as she begins maternity leave, and Peter Aurisch as he relocates to Bendigo. We thank them for their dedication and contribution to our school community and wish them every success and happiness in this next chapter.

There will be some changes to classes for semester two. An email will be sent via Compass during the holidays to inform families of the changes in staffing for classes.

Semester One Reports

Semester One student reports will be released through Compass on 26 June at 2:30 pm. As a result of ongoing industrial action by the Australian Education Union (AEU), written comments may not be included in reports for students whose teachers are participating in the action.

Attendance

Regular school attendance is vital for student success. Everyday counts, and missing school means missing out on important learning opportunities. Consistent attendance helps students stay engaged, achieve better academic outcomes and build strong social connections. However, if your child is sick, it is important that they stay home to rest and recover, and to prevent the spread of illness to other students and staff. If your child needs to be absent, I kindly ask that you inform the school.

Timetable

With some changes in staffing, a new timetable will be developed and placed online over the holiday period. Please keep an eye on Compass for when it becomes available.

SWPBS

Well done everyone, our tree has finished up the term looking fantastic. 615 positive behaviours have been recorded for the term. 198 for resilience, 82 for respect and 335 for responsibility.

A special thank you to SWPBS Team member, Heidi G for all the time she has put into keeping the tree up to date. I think you will all agree it looks great!

Whole School Assembly

We will be holding a Whole School Assembly on the first day back, Monday July 13, in the Stadium at 9am. It would be great to have Parents present to celebrate the successes from the second half of term 2, and to hear about what Term 3 brings. Please put this in your calendars.
