Loreto Shines at Ballarat Secondary Schools Orchestra (BSSO) Concert 

On Monday 9 September, seven talented Loreto musicians proudly represented the College at the Ballarat Secondary Schools Orchestra Concert, a collaborative event bringing together orchestral students from across Ballarat.

Our MSSO members were Bridie Richardson (Year 10 – violin), Matilda Goodbourn (Year 9 – violin), Sophie (Year 9 – violin), Elsa (Year 9 – clarinet), and Lilah Rose Goodbourn (Year 7 – trumpet).

The Bella Quartet comprising of Ashley Keem (Year 12), Baeli Jans (Year 10), Matilda Goodbourn, Lilah Rose Goodbourn, and accompanist Jane Nice joined the concert to deliver a moving Acknowledgement of Country in Waddawurrung language, followed by a powerful performance of For Good from Wicked.
