Book Week - Whole School Event

Book week has ended and it was a blast. It was great to see so many kids come to school dressed up in their magnificent costumes with everyone showing them off at the parade on Whole School Event day. Everybody enjoyed themselves and had a fun day! 

Athletics

Athletics was a really fun event with everyone fighting for first place. There was lots of cheering, celebrating and it was a really positive day. Our participants did an amazing job representing Preston Primary School. Congratulations to those who made it through to the regionals. 

Jeans for Genes

Jeans for Genes Day had lots of kids putting on some type of jeans such as shorts, skorts and pants. It was a gold coin donation raising money to help scientists find treatments and cures for genetic diseases and birth defects affecting children. Thanks to everyone who participated and donated. Together we raised $660 for CMRI.

We want to say a big thanks to everyone who has read our part of the school newsletter. We are so glad that people are enjoying our news. We are also excited that the end of the year is close by ... Grade 6 students will remember all of the things people have done to help us enjoy the school year.
