Summer Interschool Sport:

Congratulations to all year 5 and 6 students who participated in Summer Interschool Sport as part of the Ringwood District. We had a fantastic season competing against six other schools, and our students represented the school with pride, demonstrating excellent teamwork and sportsmanship throughout.

A special congratulations to both of our teeball teams - the boys/open team and the girls’ team, who went undefeated and were crowned district champions! They will now progress to the division finals in Term 3.

A huge thank you to all the parents who supported the program through coaching, supervising, scoring, and team management. Your time and commitment are greatly appreciated and play a vital role in making these opportunities possible. Thank-you!

House Cross Country:

Our annual House Cross Country will take place from 9am to 12pm on Tuesday 5th May for year 3 to 6 students at Domeney Reserve. House Cross Country is a long distance running event where students compete against each other in gender and age groups. Students collate house points, depending on their placing, and the overall 'House' (Gibb, Sharp, Petty or Grant) winner is announced at the end of the morning.

The six age groups are; 9/10 yo girls, 9/10 yo boys, 11 yo girls, 11 yo boys, 12/13 yo girls and 12/13 yo boys. Please note: 8-year-olds run in the 9/10 age group. Your age group is the age you will be on the 31st December 2026 (for example, if you are 10 years of age currently but turn 11 in October, you will run with the 11-year-olds).

To ensure the smooth running of this event and increase student safety, we require parent helpers to supervise during the walk to and from Domeney Reserve and to assist with marshalling at various checkpoints around the course (Domeney Reserve and through the 100 Acres) and at the finish line.

If you’re available to assist on Tuesday 5th May, please email stephanie.carbone@education.vic.gov.au or inform the office or your child’s classroom teacher. We are unable to run this event without the support of our parent community.
