As our first term comes to a close, I want to thank our whole school community for a fabulous start to the year. Our staff have worked incredibly hard to provide rich learning experiences while supporting every student’s wellbeing. We are very fortunate to have such dedicated and professional educators who take great pride in our students’ growth and achievements.
Our students have made a wonderful start to 2026. Foundation students have settled in confidently with the support of their Year 5 buddies and teachers. Year 1/2 students are enjoying new friendships and learning experiences in the junior school. Our Year 3/4 students have embraced their sustainability roles through gardening, cooking, composting and paper recycling. SRC, Active Travel leaders and Waste Warriors have been busy organising events and meeting regularly. Year 6 students are already showing strong leadership across the school. It has been fantastic to see students so engaged and connected to their school and community.
Thank you to our parents and carers for your ongoing support and partnership. Our community thrives because of the strong connection between home and school, and we truly appreciate everything you do, from helping at events like Pancake Day, the Colour Run and cupcake stalls, to supporting classroom programs, cooking, gardening and ISS.
A special thank you to our Parents Association for another great term of fundraising and community events. The Colour Run raised over $25,000, allowing us to purchase large outdoor games and begin the process of buying a 3D printer for STEM learning. The PA also ran a very popular cupcake stall and today’s Easter Raffle, adding to the fun and community spirit that make our school such a wonderful place to be.
Thanks PA for funding more large outdoor games to play during break time.

Thank you to everyone for a great term. I wish you all a safe, restful and enjoyable holiday break.
STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS
Congratulations to our school choir students for their beautiful performance at the Warrandyte Festival, and thank you to Mrs Bowen for her wonderful work in preparing and supporting them.
Well done to Layla C, Evie B, Eliza H, Ella C, Molly B and Amelia H for creating and selling their own items at the Warrandyte Festival Market Stalls. A fantastic effort from all involved.
Katarina R, Maggie B and Emma H have won the Best Stall of the Year for 2026. They have chosen to donate half of their earnings to Ronald McDonald House Parkville, supporting families at the Royal Children’s Hospital. Well done!

Congratulations to Zahli C, Summer M and Chloe C, who proudly completed the 5km Run for the Kids on Sunday to raise money for the Good Friday Appeal. Super effort!

Well done to Harvey G, who was invited to play in a charity golf event supporting a childhood cancer charity. With just a day’s notice, he also stepped up to speak confidently in front of around 150 adults, an outstanding effort.
