We’ve had a wonderful return to school after the holiday break. In maths, we’re exploring equalgroups and arrays, using concrete materials to link grouping, repeated addition, and multiplication. In reading, we’re enjoying The Stone Lion by Margaret Wild. We’re learning about nouns from the story. In writing, students have begun a unit on fairy tales, using story maps to plan characters, settings, conflicts and solutions.
