After a successful Work Experience week with Doug Russell Electrical and Solar, Roy Dunstan has been signed-up as a School Based Apprentice.

He will commence his studies with GOTAFE whilst he works towards his passion of being a qualified Electrician.

Year level:            10

Qualification:     Certificate III in Plumbing

Workplace:         RPC Plumbing & Contracting

Matilda has been signed up as a Plumbing SBAT with RPC Plumbing and Contracting and will commence her training with GOTAFE later this year.

Her employer Will is a previous student of Wangaratta High, and was impressed with Matilda’s hard skills on the tools during Work Experience. Skills she gained from completing the TAFE Tasters course at GOTAFE each Friday this year. 

When asked why she wanted to be a plumber, Matilda’s response was ‘I like the variety of work I can do each day and the water is something I can see, as opposed to some other the trades’.
