Our annual House Athletics Carnivals for both Senior School and Middle School were held recently and was a great showcase for the talent across both the schools.

The Senior School Athletics Carnival was a fantastic end to the term. From the first event to the final relay, students demonstrated outstanding commitment, whether competing on the track, in the field, or supporting their peers from the sidelines.
Participation across all year levels was exceptional, with many students stepping outside their comfort zones to contribute valuable points to their House. We also had some great individual performances on the day, which highlighted the skill our students have in track and field.

Overall, both carnivals were a tremendous success. We look forward to watching a number of our athletes now compete in the ACS Athletics squad as they commence their training program leading into the ACS Championships in June.
Last week we held our House Chess Program, with over 100 competitors involved. The event provided a fantastic opportunity for students of all ages to compete against each other, which doesn’t happen throughout the year.
It was particularly pleasing to see such a high level of participation, with many students eager to challenge themselves and contribute to their House. The House Chess Program continues to grow in popularity and is a valuable addition to our wider House events calendar. We look forward to building on this momentum in future programs and providing even more opportunities for students to get involved.

On Friday, our u15 boys delivered an outstanding performance in the first round of the Bill Turner Cup securing an impressive 6–1 victory. After a tightly contested first half that saw the scores locked at 1–1, the team lifted to another level after the break.
The second half showcased the quality of our play, with excellent ball movement, composure in possession, and clinical finishing proving too strong for our opponents. The boys worked cohesively as a team, demonstrating both attacking flair and defensive discipline.
It was a fantastic result and a strong reflection of the team’s effort, skill, and commitment. We look forward to their continued success in the competition.
