Years 5-6 High Ability Students

At Langwarrin Park PS, we are proud to have a number of high-ability students in Years 5 and 6 participating in the Victorian High-Ability Program (VHAP). VHAP is a Department of Education program that extends students in Writing and Mathematics through weekly online sessions with Virtual School Victoria.

Our students are now into their fourth week of the program and are thoroughly enjoying the challenges and opportunities to work with like-minded peers from across the state.

Students are selected through a Department of Education process using a range of data, including NAPLAN results and school-based assessments, ensuring those who would benefit from additional challenge are invited to participate.
