🍦 Play & Popsicles Kick Off a Fun Start to the Year! 🎉
On 20 February 2026, our first school catch-up took a fresh, playful twist with the Play & Popsicles Meet & Greet, with Kylie supporting our idea to make the event even more fun for everyone. ☀️ With beautiful weather on our side, the children had a blast running around 🏃♂️🏃♀️, playing with bubbles, and enjoying icy treats 🍭🍦, while parents took the opportunity to mingle, chat, and get to know one another 🗣️🤝. It was a relaxed and joyful way to start the school year, bringing our school community together in a light-hearted and welcoming atmosphere.
This event set a cheerful tone for 2026 🌈 and reminded us that a little creativity and play can make community connections even stronger! 💛

Following our P&C meeting on Monday night, we are pleased to announce that we now have a full Executive Team and Band Committee for 2026.
We would like to officially welcome all members to their roles. We look forward to a productive and successful year working together for our school community.
TREASURER
Hi there! My name is Jak Heng, and I'm excited to be joining the Roselea Public School P&C Association as Treasurer for 2026!
I am a local Carlingford boy having grown up in the area and attending Roselea, graduating year 6 in 2000. I am a father to two young boys, Lucas (starting Kindy at Roselea in 2026) and Jacob who has a few years to go.
I have been practising as a solicitor since 2010 in the principle areas of commercial litigation, real property and estate planning. In addition to my legal studies, I have a life long interest in learning having completed a Masters in Law, and a separate Masters in Professional Accounting. More recently, I have been assisting my wife with her busy psychology practice. Life has been kept busy and interesting between juggling work, family, and everything else in between.
I am very much looking forward to meeting our families and students and working together to make Roselea an inviting, engaging and safe space for our children to learn and develop into tomorrow's confident young people.
If you see me on school grounds, the street or anywhere else in fact, please reach out and say hello. I look forward to seeing you and pursuing endeavours to further enrich our community's and our children's lives.

Hello everyone, I’m Paramjit Kaur-Singh parent of Ekleen in 4C. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve as band treasurer. My goal is to help keep things organised and transparent while supporting the band’s activities and fundraising. I’m excited to work together and welcome any suggestions or questions.
🌭 The Sizzle is Back: Bunnings BBQ & Cake Stall! 🧁
Get your tongs and aprons ready! Our next major fundraiser,
the Roselea PS P&C Bunnings BBQ & Cake Stall, is happening on Sunday, March 15th.
This is a fantastic way to support our school while enjoying the best snag in town. To make the day a success, we need your help in three key ways:
1. Volunteer Your Time
We have a variety of shifts available between 8am-5pm. Whether you’re a master of the grill or prefer a quick 1-hour "power shift" on the counter, every bit of help makes a massive difference!
2. Bake for the Stall
Our last cake stall was a record-breaking hit thanks to our amazing community bakers! If you can whip up some treats, we would love to have them.
- Important: Please no fresh cream or items requiring refrigeration.
3. Supply Leads
Do you have a contact for bread or drinks? We are still looking for donations or leads to help keep our costs low and our fundraising high.

If you are baking, please bring your donations to the School Canteen on Friday, March 13th.
- Morning: 8:00 am – 9:15 am
- Afternoon: 2:30 pm – 3:15 pm
15th March Sunday AT Bunnings 8am-9:30am
Labelling Requirements: Every donation must include a label with:
- Item Name & Baker’s Name & Date Baked
- Allergen Checklist: Clearly tick if it contains Nuts, Dairy, Gluten, or Eggs.

We’re so excited to be holding our annual Easter Raffle — and this year we’re adding a fresh twist with Family-Themed Hampers (Beyond Chocolate!) 🎉
Alongside our traditional Easter treats, we’re expanding our hampers to include practical, fun and experience-inspired themes the whole family will love.

Uniform Shop
The Uniform Shop will be open on:
- Monday 30 March — 2:30pm–3:10pm (TBC)
All Qkr! orders placed by 10:00pm on Tuesdays during the school term will be delivered to your child’s classroom by the end of the same week.

💃 After School Dance Classes Are Back! 🕺
We’re excited to announce that our after-school dance classes are now up and running. We are thrilled to see so many dancers joining us this year! 🎉
✨ FREE TRIAL AVAILABLE — come along and give it a go! ✨
This year, we’re delighted to welcome a new qualified and experienced dance teacher, with classes running:
- K–2: Tuesdays, 3:00–4:10pm
- Years 3–6: Thursdays, 3:00–4:10pm
Classes will focus on Jazz and Ballet/Lyrical, with a performance at the end of term and a big festival later in the year ✨
