Year 6 to Year 7 Transition - High School 2027

To enrol your child in Year 7 for 2027, you will need to complete an Expression of Interest. The Expression of Interest (EOI) lets you indicate which school(s) you would like your child to attend in Year 7.

The EOI process is available online now and is open until Friday 27 March 2026. After you submit an EOI and it has been assessed by your chosen high school(s), your child will be offered a place at a high school. Please use the following link to complete your EOI:

If your child will not be attending a NSW Government high school next year, please let us know by completing the Placement Not Required, by following the same link above.

This online process will guide you through your options and collect the information required to make the process as smooth as possible. For more information about moving to high school, visit Choosing a school setting.

Student Representative Council

Our Student Representative Council has attended their first meetings for the year and have begun settling into their leadership roles. During these sessions, students have learned what the role of SRC is at the school and how they can positively contribute to our school community.

SRC members have already supported whole-school initiatives by assisting with recycling processes and promoting Clean Up Australia Day across the school. Students created and displayed posters to spread awareness and encourage participation. Although our planned clean-up event was postponed due to wet weather, it has now been rescheduled for this Friday and we look forward to students leading by example on the day.

We commend our SRC representatives for the responsible and proactive manner in which they have approached their roles and look forward to their leadership in supporting student voice and organisation at Roselea.

Bus Safety Week

Our school bus operator Busways is reminding all road users, parents, and students to ‘be bus aware’ as part of Transport for NSW’s Bus Safety Week campaign, running Feb 23 – Mar 01.

Bus Safety Week, part of the ‘Be Bus Aware’ campaign, sees Governments, bus operators, and emergency services raise awareness about the importance of being safe in and around buses and spread the message to ‘Be Bus Aware’.

The initiative provides a timely reminder to parents to have a talk with their children about bus safety; to motorists when giving way to buses; to pedestrians to make sure they are alert of their surroundings; and to cyclists to ensure they can see where buses are. We all have a part to play in bus safety.

The ‘Be Bus Aware’ campaign has been developed with input from Bus NSW, NSW Police and Transport for NSW.
