School Council

Dear Fellow Parents, 

With our first call for nominations recently, we received three nominees for the three parent positions, and one nominee for the single Department of Education position. As such, an election is not required and we welcome the following parents to our council for the next two years. 

Firstly we welcome Eleanor Vassiliou (parent of Gianna in grade 2) to council. Next we welcome Ioanna Zormpa (parent of Michail in grade 4 and Sofia in grade 1) and last but in no way least we welcome Katherine Bekiaris (parent of Ava in grade 1). No doubt all three of these parents will make an outstanding contribution to council and we look forward to meeting them officially at the March meeting of council. 

Whilst we welcome these new faces to council, we bid farewell to two parents who have made a significant and valuable contribution to council over the past two years. To Liz Reffke and Giovanna Tesoriero we say a hearty thank you, yet we know these parents are valuable contributors to the school so we will no doubt see them helping out in other ways. 

Kylie Kennedy retained the singular Department of Education position available rounding out our 2026 council. With executive positions to be determined at our next meeting, the school council for 2026 is comprised of:
