Welcome to Term 4!

Official Opening Stage 3A

It was with great pride that we officially opened our newest building project, Stage 3A this week. Dignitaries who attended included  Senator Jana Stewart, Executive Director of Catholic Education Sandhurst Ltd Kate Fogarty, Greater Shepparton City Council Deputy Mayor Anthony Brophy, and St Mel's Parish Priest Fr Ronald Masilang. The $8m project includes classrooms, tutorial rooms, woodwork, metalwork, textiles and robotics rooms that will inspire and engage our students for many years to come.

Graduation Mass

All family and friends are welcome to join us for our Year 12 Graduation Mass on Tuesday 21 October at 1pm at St Mel's Church. It really is a special occasion and I encourage everyone to attend. We will also be announcing our 2026 College Captains at the mass.

Staff Announcements

Departing Staff

It is with both disappointment and well wishes that I announce that Meredith Lia has accepted a position at St Augustine's Kyabram in 2026. Mez has been at St Anne's since 2023 and has played an influential role as the Community and Wellbeing Leader during that time. We wish Mez all the best in her new role.

Incoming Staff

I am excited to announce that the following staff will be joining St Anne's in 2026:

  • Gary Woodward - Primary Community and Wellbeing Leader for 2026. Gary has worked at St Mary's Mooroopna in a similar role and will be a wonderful leader in this area.
  • Fiona Bolton - Secondary Maths and Science teacher. Fiona is joining us from the Shepparton Christian College where she has worked for the past 8 years.
  • Michael Quin - PE, Health and Humanities secondary teacher. Michael has worked at both St Joseph's Mildura and St Francis Xavier College since graduating in 2018.

Sporting Achievements

Congratulations to the Year 7 and 8 students who represented St Anne's so commendably at the Summer Sports event this week. We also had several students represent St Anne's at the Hume Regional Athletics Carnival. According to all reports, our students demonstrated both a strong competitive spirit and exemplary sportsmanship. Well done and thank you!
