KYPP News

This term has seen the KYPP’s KUPS coffee cart in full swing.
Students are completing their coffee-making as part of their hospitality units and are making great coffee and cookies for both the KYPP and FLO staff on a weekly basis.
We also celebrated International Women’s Day, providing tea bags and coffee sachets, as well as biscuits, to show our appreciation for the hardworking women who contribute to our learning community. We have also been busy out in the community, visiting the Heritage Manor residents and making heat bags for them to use.
Besides completing their VPC and other certificates, connection to the community is a major focus of the Kurnai Young Parents Program. Connecting to the community is an important factor to combat loneliness as well as contribute to an overall improvement in wellbeing.
