Term 3 Highlights: Exploring Career Pathways with Middle School Students

Term 3 is an exciting and dynamic period for our Middle School students as they dive into exploring career pathways and setting their personal goals through Career Action Plans. Here’s a look at some of the recent and upcoming events and activities:

Year 7 & 8 Extended Homegroup Pathways Program:

Our Year 7 and 8 students have eagerly engaged in career and pathway lessons that spark curiosity about life beyond the classroom. These sessions have broadened their horizons, helping them connect their passions with potential future careers.

Year 8 Pathway Discovery Event:

Earlier this term, all Year 8 students participated in the Pathway Discovery Event. During this event, students received valuable insights from Subject Leaders about the subjects offered in 2025 and how these choices can shape their journey through senior school and beyond. This information will empower students to make informed decisions as they plan their studies for the next year.

Please note that Year 8 into Year 9 Subject Selection is scheduled for Monday, 19th August, during Extended Homegroup. If your child is absent on this day, they can complete the selection process at home using the materials provided in their Homegroup lesson plan.

Year 9 into Year 10 Course Counselling:

This week, our Year 9 students took part in a course counselling session, where they discussed and finalised their subject choices for 2025. By creating an environment that encourages exploration and offers guidance, we are helping our students navigate the exciting opportunities that await them.
