Science Update

National Science Week is Australia’s annual celebration of Science and Technology that runs each year in August.

During week 5 of this term, Monday 12th of August to Friday 16th of August, EMC will be hosting a week of curiosity and wonder as students will have the opportunity to engage and participate in a variety of science experiments and activities during lunchtimes.

Please see the current schedule for this week below:

Monday – Giant Slingshot (Oval)

Wednesday – Giant elephant toothpaste and DIY ice cream (Courtyard)

Thursday – EMC Petting Zoo and Plant Potting (Asphalt Area near Gym)

Friday – Optical Illusions Display (Hallway Screens)

We encourage all students to come to explore and experience these events.

In addition, to promote this year’s theme of Species Survival, we are offering a unique opportunity for our community.

The attached link will send you to a Trivia Quiz with one major prize winner and two minor prize winners both receiving Village Cinemas gift cards.

Do you have what it takes to survive these questions?
