The kids running around at Shark Park now are the ones who will be pulling on a senior jumper and an A Grade dress in a few years' time. If we keep investing in them, this club stays strong for the next generation. If we do not, we go backwards.
Continually improving what we offer our juniors, better coaching, better facilities, better pathways, is essential to the longevity of this club. That takes money, and this raffle is how we fund it.

STRIDE AND RIDE
We can’t wait to welcome you back to Stride or Ride for 2026!
Thanks to your amazing support last year, Stride or Ride helped raise vital funds for The Portsea Camp, giving children across Victoria the chance to experience adventure, build confidence, and create lifelong memories. We are so grateful — thank you!
We're excited to invite you back for Stride or Ride 2026, happening on Sunday, November 15th.
But before the event kicks off, we are having an official event launch on Friday the 14th of August – 3pm – 5pm at Italico in Sorrento and we would love to see you there.
It’s a great opportunity for a social get together, so bring a friend and enjoy canapes, drinks on arrival and hear from guest speaker, Olympic and Commonwealth Games cycling champion, Katie Mactier.

- Walk with Taryn Brown, Founder of Walk Mornington Peninsula – Taryn will lead the 20km walk with the added opportunity to join her at the half-way mark if 20km isn’t for you
- Colleen Callander, award-winning CEO, Author, and Founder of Mentor Me Women – Join Colleen for 12km of pure inspiration.
- The 6km Point Nepean National Park hike.
- For the experienced cyclists – 65km Foundation Ride(Portsea Dromana Loop) and the 100km Epic Ridestarting from Sandringham finishing at The Portsea Camp.
- Ride or walk solo or start a team.

The Southern Unit (Victoria/Tas) of Worldwide Marriage Encounter is pleased to be offering an enrichment day for couples.
The Enrichment Day is based on The 5 Love Languages - international bestseller by Dr Gary Chapman
We all need to feel loved. Men and women have an “emotional love tank”. When it’s full, we feel content, secure, and loved. We all communicate love primarily according to one of five love languages. And the truly life-changing moment comes when we understand and speak each other’s love language.
The presenters, Deb & Paul Cochran, have been married for 37 years and involved with Marriage Encounter for 27 years. They have presented the 5 Love Languages Enrichment to Couples in Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane. Deb & Paul bring the concepts of the book alive in a humorous and relatable way as they share their own experiences

MacKillop Family Services is calling on the community to make their home a safe space for vulnerable children and young people. Throughout the Sorrento area there continues to be a high demand for foster carers who can provide nurturing care and support for children in their local community.
Foster carers come from all walks of life. The most essential criteria is that they care, can provide a safe and nurturing home, and have room in their home to support a vulnerable child or sibling group.
MacKillop supports foster carers with comprehensive training, ongoing guidance and support, respite care and an around the clock helpline.
