We are so excited to share our newly renovated classroom! Our fresh learning space has been thoughtfully designed to inspire curiosity, creativity and collaboration. The students have loved exploring the new areas, working together at our learning tables and enjoying a bright, engaging environment where they can learn and grow.

📚 Book Week is Coming! 📚

With Book Week just around the corner, our Year 1/2 students have been sharing their favourite books and explaining why they love them. From exciting adventures and laugh-out-loud stories to heartwarming tales and fascinating facts, it has been wonderful to hear the enthusiasm our students have for reading.

Talking about favourite books is a fantastic way to encourage a love of reading and inspire others to discover new stories. We hope you enjoy reading our students' recommendations and perhaps even find your family's next bedtime favourite!

Raffy - Dog Man 

It is my favourite book because it is a good series 

Emerson - Hot Dog 

This is my favourite book because I like how they solve the problems

Chelsea - Wolf Girl 

This is my favourite new book because Gwen has five wild dogs including a wolf

Darcy - Diary of a Wimpy Kid

I like that this book has a lot of different characters and is humorous 

Curtis - Diary of a Wimpy Kid

I like the main character Greg because he is skinny and funny 

Ned - Monsters Inc

I like this book because it is the same as the movie

Luka - Weirdo 

This is my favourite book because it has weird stuff in it like when Weirdo gets pooed on by a bird

Jack - Specky Magee

I love this book because it is about footy and that is my favourite sport

Bowie - Do NOT Open This Book

I like reading this book because it tells me to not open it and I like doing it because it says not to

Marc - Chicken Little 

This is my favourite picture story book because it is funny

Lucia - Ballet Class

This is my favourite book because I used to do ballet and she did her concert, I love performing in a concert too

Charlie Chaz - The Crayons Go Back To School

I like this book because I am happy the crayons go back to school

Amelie - Ella Diaries 

Ella is my favourite book character because I like her name. 

Connor - Hot Dog 

This is a great book because it has a lot of funny things in it

Billy - Pizza and Taco

I love the characters in this book and it is funny and it is a comic 

Gus - Pizza and Taco

This book is really funny and has funny jokes

Lucky - Zac Power

I really like the cool missions that Zac goes on. 

Ava J - Claris 

This is my favourite book because Claris is pretty and goes to Paris 

Abby - Baby Sitters Little Sister 

I like that these books are like comics

Hugo - Harry Potter

This is my favourite book because I like magic and all the cool things Harry does 

Jean - Billy B Brown 

I really like Billy and her pet guinea pig called Molly

Sidney - Zac Power 

I like that Zac is always on cool and dangerous missions

Bodie - Percy Jackson 

I like that this is a cool comic

Ava S - How to Annoy Dad

I like to annoy my dad too

Olive - Pig the Pug 

I like this book because Pig is so funny 

Noah - Don’t Butt In 

This is my favourite book because it is funny when he shows his butt

Freddy - Let’s Play!

This is my favourite book because I like that you can press the button and it takes you somewhere else.
