Week 9 Greeting
As Term 3 comes to a close, I’d like to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to our wonderful school community. Your ongoing support—whether through volunteering, helping with fundraising activities, or cheering on our talented students during the school production—has made a significant difference. Thanks to your involvement, our students have had yet another fun and exciting term filled with memorable experiences. It’s been a joy to witness the sense of pride and connection across our school. I wish everyone a safe, relaxing and restful break, and I look forward to welcoming you all back for an even more vibrant Term 4. ３学期もあっという間に最終日を迎えました。この場をおかりして、父兄の皆様に感謝申し上げます。ボランティア、募金活動、スクールプロダクションのサポートなど、たくさんのサポートをしてくださ理、本当にありがとうございました。このようなサポートのおかげで、本校の生徒たちは安全で楽しい一学期を過ごすことができました。２週間のホリデーに入りますが、どうぞ安全で楽しい時間をお過ごしください。また来学期にお会いできることを楽しみにしております。
As we begin preparing for the year ahead, I’d like to remind parents that class placement requests for 2026 are due by Friday 17 October. If you wish to submit a request based on your child’s learning needs, please refer to the detailed information shared by Mr Strain in our most recent school newsletter. We appreciate your understanding that while we do our best to accommodate requests, our priority remains creating balanced, supportive, and effective learning environments for all students. ２０２６年のクラス編成を行うにあたり、現在ご自分のお子様のクラス配置についてのご要望を受け付けております。ご要望の提出は１０月１７日が締め切りつなっておりますので、ご注意ください。また、クラス編成に関する詳しい情報は前回のスクールストリームで校長が情報を提供いたしましたので、こちらも合わせてご確認ください。

Snapshots from the Classroom – This week, our Prep students amazed us with their creativity and confidence as they designed and constructed their very own puppet theatres using shoeboxes. The excitement in the room was contagious—colours, textures, and materials filled every corner as students carefully turned their ideas into 3D models. They had planned their theatres thoughtfully and were incredibly proud to perform for their Year 6 buddies. What an impressive display of imagination and design thinking!先週、プレップの教室を訪問した際、ちょうど自分たちのパペット劇場を制作している途中で、とてもカラフルな光景に驚かされました。ノートにデザインを書いた平面図を、靴箱を使った立体の形に作り上げていく過程は、たくさんの細かい作業の繰り返しですが、とても楽しそうに作っていました。入学した時から仲良しの５・６年生のバディに披露することを楽しみにしていました。とても素敵な劇場が出来上がりそうです。
Monday saw our school transformed into a magical world of books during our annual Book Parade! Students came dressed as their favourite book characters, and the effort and creativity on show were truly spectacular. From classic heroes to modern favourites, our corridors were filled with colour, laughter, and literary magic. A huge congratulations to our prize winners for best costumes from each year level—and a big thank you to all families who helped bring those characters to life. Oh, what fun we had!月曜日にはブックパレードがありました。創作的なコスチュームに身を纏い学校に登校した生徒たち。それぞれの学年からはベストコスチュームに選ばれた生徒たちは図書券のプライズをもらうことができました。全校揃ってとても楽しい時間を過ごすことができました！
