Students Sporting News
Congratulations to Year 7 student Yuvraj Mitherani, who was part of the Ballarat Highlands Gold Diggers U/18 Lawn Bowls team who successfully defeated the Bendigo Dragons U/18 Lawn Bowls team on Monday 21st October.
Yuvraj was part of a 16 player squad who headed to the Bendigo Bowls Club. Bowlers rotated in and out of matches throughout the day. In amazing conditions on a beautifully prepared green, they played 4 games of 2 bowl triples.
In a match of see-sawing results, the winner was ultimately decided on the last end of the last game when the Ballarat Highlanders held their nerve to claim victory.
Well done Yuvraj!!
