CATHOLIC ATHLETICS CARNIVAL 2025

Congratulations to the 55 students who represented Holy Rosary at the Catholic Athletics Carnival on Wednesday, 3rd of September. All students demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship and appeared to be having great fun. We did well to get through all the events with the rain coming in hard for the very last event of the day.

A big thank you to Miss Spence, Miss O'Sullivan, Mrs Morrison and Ty Caine for taking the students and helping on the day.

As you can see from the photo's it was an extremely successful day and we couldn't be prouder of our students. We have achieved the most ribbons in a long time at Holy Rosary and it is a credit to the training put in by the students in the lead up to this event.

The last week of each term is our Health & PE Week. As part of our Health & Physical Education curriculum we will be participating in additional sport and health activities throughout the week. Students are encouraged to wear their sports uniform every day. Some activities that will happen throughout the week include: Futsal, Skipping Club, Downball Competition, Staff v Gr 6 AFL 9s Game, Dance, Meditation and Tennis.

Further to this we will have a year level v year level running club challenge every morning. We will calculate the year level that runs the most laps in total by the end of the week. Parents are welcome to come join us and walk laps with their children. A big thank you to all our fantastic leaders in grade 6 who help organise and run these activities.
