GRADE 5 CAMP

On Monday and Tuesday, the Grade 5’s went on camp.  We went to Campaspe Downs in Kyneton. The activities we did were, the Flying fox, Centipede, Areoball and Archery. The nighttime activity was a quiz night.  On the first day of camp the weather was mainly sunny and warm, on the second day it was cloudy, cold and it rained a little bit. We arrived at Campaspe downs at around 11:00am. We had a blast.  Arlie and Annabelles favourite activities were Flying Fox and Areoball. On the first day we had chicken and potatoes with vegetables for dinner, for dessert we had mini cakes with the option of caramel topping. The next day we had hashbrowns with scrambled eggs, with an option of cereal or toast for breakfast. For lunch we had chicken wraps and soup, if we didn’t want to eat those, we could have a sandwich or a salad. The staff were lovely to everyone as well.

The highlight of camp was that Mr Wilkinson stayed the whole time and loved it.

GRADE 3 & 4 SUSTAINABILITY EXCURSION

On Wednesday, the Grade 3s and 4s went on a sustainability excursion to the botanical gardens and we learned about water and what to do in an emergency. When we first got there, we watched a magic show by a magician names Ian who was doing a lot of tricks like making a cloth disappear.

FATHER'S DAY CELEBRATION - PREP

Yesterday our Foundation students welcomed their dads, grandpas, and special guests for a memorable Father’s Day celebration. Together, they enjoyed creating a special craft before sharing “Doughnuts with Dad.” It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to spend time with the important people in their lives and to celebrate the special role they play in our school community.
