School Council

The newly elected School Council had its first meeting for 2026 on Tuesday evening. We welcomed new school councillors Samantha Sissons, Andre van Baalen, Nicole Quah and Carrie Owens. Other school councillors Claire Hartley, Rick Pinto, Caitlin Storey and Martijn Verbree will continue to have a strong impact. The first item of business was the election of office bearers. I am honoured to have been elected President, Katie Fisher will help me lead the Council in the role of Vice President, Andre van Baalen brings great experience into the role as Treasurer and Connie Bullen will continue her superb work as Secretary. Each of us also joined either the Education or Facilities/Master Plan sub committees. We reviewed Child Safe Standards and the draft 2025 Annual Report which will be released to the community soon. We also received reports from the Finance subcommittee and Parents’ Association, noting progress on the upcoming Colour Run and plans for the traditional Easter Raffle.
