INFORM & EMPOWER

Cybersafety and Digital Wellbeing

Next term, we will join a new whole school program that runs every term. It builds a strong online community for students that grows with them, supports them, and helps them succeed.

We are very grateful to the Warrandyte Community Bank for fully funding the Inform and Empower program at our school. This great initiative will truly help our students and their families.

As part of the program, we have planned an online parent information session for parents on Thursday, 14 May at 7:30 pm.

Below is a short video about the parent session, "Raising Kids in a Digital World."

Congratulations to the following Councillors elected as Office Bearers for 2026:

  • President: Mike Tanner

  • Vice President: Katie Fisher

  • Treasurer: Andre van Baalen

  • Minute Secretary: Connie Bullen

School Council meets on the third Tuesday of each month. If you’d like something raised, please contact any Council member. You can meet the full team on our School Council page.

INDUSTRIAL ACTION – Tuesday 24 March

The Australian Education Union (AEU) has announced full‑day industrial action for Tuesday, 24 March 2026. Staff intending to participate must notify the school by Friday, 20 March.

Once we confirm staffing, we will update families on Monday about how many staff will be involved and any changes to the school program. We are planning to keep things running as normally as possible.

On Monday, we will share more details about how classes might be affected on the day and the arrangements for those classes.

PA MAJOR FUNDRAISER

The Colour Fun Run is just around the corner Monday March 23 2 - 3:30 pm! During Monday’s assembly, the following students were drawn to slime a teacher after the run. Our brave teacher volunteers are: Miss Meiszies, Miss Chen, Mrs Carbone, Mrs Bullen, Mr McKibbin, Mrs Allegretto, Mr Grecea and Ms Owen.

Congratulations to our student winners…

Jack M, Jamie A, Max C, Evie D, Finn M, Maverick L and Harvey T.

So far, we have raised over $10 000. If we reach $20,000, I’ll be getting slimed too! The family who raises the most will win a fantastic prize: a bike and four tickets to a Melbourne Phoenix game.

Students are able to wear a white T-shirt to school and their bottle green school shorts- they won't be changing clothes- they can wear colourful socks, wigs, and costumes during the Colour Run to get into the spirit of the day.

We’re looking forward to a colourful, energetic and fun filled day for our whole community. Parents and visitors are more than welcome to watch the fun.
