We are extremely proud of Miss Spencer, our Digitech teacher at CJC. She continues to innovate and shine!
This time, she presented at the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership’s 'Leading AI in Education Symposium'. Educators and school leaders from across Victoria came together to explore how AI can be used thoughtfully, ethically and purposefully to improve teaching and learning.
“I shared how I’ve found opportunities to embed AI into some of my design thinking projects here at CJC. In my examples, AI helped students reach perspectives and build empathy in ways they couldn't access any other way. It also worked as a thinking tool, helping students extend and deepen their critical thinking about their own design ideas.
The key message from the day: effective AI integration is about making informed decisions that keep students, teachers and quality learning at the centre, rather than simply adopting new technologies.”
