Year 5 RRRR Term 4
Stress
In Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships this term we have been looking at stress and stressors. We have discussed the fact that they are part of everyday lives and that we need to develop ways of managing and coping with stress.
We brainstormed as a class to create a definition of what stress mean and feels like for us. We also discussed situations and locations that can be stressful. Exploring ‘stress’ helped us identify what it feels like in our bodies and brains and to see that there are similarities and differences to individual experiences.
This topic linked well with the work we have been doing about positive coping strategies too.
