Seeds to Success

Over the last two weeks, students in the Seeds to Success program have been working with Mitch Jones from McConnell Dowell on a range of hands-on environmental activities. This partnership was formed during the recent Big Build Epping Road Upgrade.
They participated in an information session on native pollinators, learning about their role in local ecosystems and how to support healthy habitats.
Students also spent time weeding an area of the school to prepare the space for upcoming planting, ensuring the soil is ready for new growth.
In addition, they began constructing a bee hotel by packing blocks with clay, creating small, sheltered spaces that will help attract and protect native bee species.
