Class of 2026 Valedictory Dinner
We are pleased to invite the Class of 2026 and their families to join us for the Valedictory Dinner, an evening dedicated to celebrating the achievements, memories and journey of our graduating students.
Date: Friday, 20 November 2026
Time: 6:30pm – 10:30pm
Venue: Seasons 5 Resort

Tickets can be purchased using the link provided. Families are able to purchase up to four tickets per family, including the Year 12 student.

Father’s Day Breakfast
We are pleased to invite you to our Father’s Day Breakfast on Thursday, 3 September, from 8.00am – 9.00am.
The morning will provide an opportunity to come together and celebrate the special fathers and father figures within our college community. A coffee truck will be available, with each dad receiving a complimentary ticket to enjoy their choice of beverage. A selection of morning tea will also be provided for our dads to enjoy while connecting with other families.
We look forward to welcoming our Primary families and celebrating this special occasion with our dads and father figures.

Father's Day Stalls
On Friday 4 September, our Father’s Day Stalls will give Prep to Year 6 students the opportunity to choose a special gift for their dads.
Gifts will range from $1–$7, with a limit of one gift per student. Cash only.
School Musical 2027
We are incredibly excited to announce that the 2027 Good News Lutheran College School Musical will be We Will Rock You! Powered by the legendary music of Queen, We Will Rock You is a spectacular rock musical filled with unforgettable songs, larger-than-life characters and an inspiring story that celebrates courage, individuality and the enduring power of live music.
Audiences can look forward to iconic hits including Bohemian Rhapsody, Somebody to Love, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Another One Bites the Dust, and many more. Each year, our school musical provides students with an incredible opportunity to challenge themselves, discover new talents and be part of something truly special. Whether performing on stage, playing in the orchestra, working backstage or joining our technical and production teams, students will have the chance to develop new skills, build lasting friendships and create memories that will stay with them for years to come.
The countdown to our 2027 production begins now, and we can't wait to share this exciting journey with our College community. Over the coming weeks, we'll release more information about auditions, technical and production team applications, rehearsal schedules and key dates.
So warm up those vocal cords, dust off those dancing shoes, and get ready to rock! We Will Rock You is coming to Good News Lutheran College in 2027, and it's going to be an unforgettable experience!

Book Week dress up parade Friday 28th August
We are all looking forward to Book Week in Week 7.On the Friday the whole school P-12 dress up as a character from a book for our annual Book Parades. A reminder to start thinking about what costume your child might like to wear. There are many ideas online for homemade costumes. Ask your child which books they have enjoyed this year and have a look at the covers. Some of the best costumes are the simplest idea. It is always a fun week with visiting authors and lunchtime activities in the library.
