Book Week is NEXT week!

We are so so excited! Hello Families, it's nearly here, book week celebrations are going to be held from August 24 to 27.  The children have explored all the shortlisted books and can't wait to find out which book wins the title of Book of the Year 2026! 

As a school, our chioce for the win is Once I was a Giant by Zeno Sworder. We breathe in because trees breathe out.This is a beautiful story of a green giant tree and a small wanderer who formed a friendship that spanned lifetimes. This is a luminescent and hopeful tale about our living natural world. The children absolutely loved this book.

A snapshot of the activities for Book week below:

Monday 24th - Incursion by Performa Education (Based on shortlisted books).

Tuesday 25th - Scholastic Book Fair opens. Chidren visit to make their wish lists.

Wednesday 26th - Book Week Costume parade.

Thursdays 27th - Bring a plushie and relax to a symphony in the Library.
