Deputy Principal

Dear Sacred Heart Community,

It is a privilege to be involved in a strong school/parish community relationship. Although there have been many changes in my lifetime, one thing has always remained constant...the human desire to belong and be a part of a community. Last Sunday it was our school's turn to host a Morning Cuppa and spend some time strengthening bonds and relationships with the parishioners. Thanks to Prem, Tissa and Merlyn for helping out and making it such a lovely community event!

Learning Support Officers ~                             Davide Marciano and Palwasha Sarajsada

This week our spotlight goes to LSO's at either end of the school; Davide Marciano and Palwasha Sarajsada. Davide supports students in the Year 5/6 J learning space, with Palwasha working alongside Marty and Maddy in Foundation. We are incredibly lucky to have both of them at our school. They show genuine care and concern for each child they support and are fantastic colleagues on staff. 

Asked why he liked his work Davide replied "What I love about being an LSO is being able to help these special kids one on one and seein g them grow into the smartest kids in the school!"  

Palwasha has been a dynamic member of staff for some years now. Nothing is too great for Palwasha. She has amazing energy and works tirelessly to help support both teachers and the students. She is also a great communicator with other parents, making them feel welcome and connected. Thanks so much Palwasha for all the work you do at our school!

Spring is coming...and so is our Spring Working Bee! Keep an eye
