Dear Kingswood Community,

The Year 2 students have been accessing their past knowledge of paper weaving in order to move forward and begin learning how to sew. We revised the skill of under and over in preparation for using a needle. Along the way we have learnt some new vocabulary: warps, wefts, loom and weaving. Ask your child to teach you which is which!

We thought the weaving looked like a blanket, so we chose an animal to snuggle under the blanket.
