Under 14 Rugby League team

A Great Day for Rugby League.

What an incredible day for our Under 14 Rugby League team! Our boys represented the school with pride and passion, showcasing a strong mix of experienced players and newcomers to the sport. It was fantastic to see our new players get a real taste of what rugby league is all about, and even better to see their excitement and commitment to continue in our rugby program next year.

Our experienced players truly stood tall today, leading by example in some tough matches. We just missed out on a spot in the finals after a hard-fought semi-final against Grange College, going down 4 tries to 2. Grange, one of the strongest teams in the competition, fields many players from their Rugby Academy program, making our boys’ effort even more impressive.

A huge credit to our Head Coach, Mr. Ieremia, for his dedication, leadership, and countless hours mentoring both our boys’ and girls’ rugby teams throughout the year. His commitment continues to build a strong foundation for rugby at Kurunjang.

We have exciting plans for next year to further develop our rugby program and put Kurunjang on the rugby map, competing proudly against some of the top schools and academy teams in Victoria.
