Musical

Fantastic effort to all of the students for last night's performance. It was amazing to see all of your hard work and effort result in an amazing performance. For those who are yet to see the show - you are in for a real treat.

Thanks to all of the staff and parent helpers who have helped make this production happen. It was the brainchild of Ms Freeman and together with Mrs Searle and Miss Dodson they have made our children stars!

There is still time to purchase raffle tickets before the performance tonight - from the office or in the foyer at the theatre prior to the show starting tonight. Let's raise some money to support the school. The raffle prizes are exceptional so definitely worth being in it to win it. Thank you again for all of our generous sponsors.

💐 Spoil the Staff Day – 12th November

We have Spoil the staff day next Wednesday 12th November and are hoping that we can get some parent volunteers to help us on the day. We have organised a great spread but need helpers to make sure the staff are spoilt - they have definitely earned it after all their work on the musical.

We have split it into 2 shifts from 11.30am - 1.30pm and 12.30-2.30pm, with allowance for set up and pack up. Please put your hand up and support our team to show the teachers how much we value their efforts with our kids.  https://volunteersignup.org/YFTTW

Secondhand Uniform

Please remember to bring in any school uniform items that your children no longer need. We are in short supply and want to be able to offer second hand uniform stalls more often throughout the year.

Green Team 📚 Book Sale – 28th November

This is fast approaching and the PA are working hard with the green team to get this organised for the end of the month. We will be setting up a sign up sheet soon and will need lots of volunteers to help our budding readers to choose their books. There's also a great selection of adult books for the rest of the family as well.

Parents' Association AGM

The end of the year is fast approaching which means that our next PA meeting will be the last for the year. That means that it will be the AGM. It will be on Wednesday 26th November at 6.30pm. I would like to invite you to consider joining the Parents' Aassociation. If you have any questions then please reach out to myself or the office and we would love to welcome you to the team. It is a fun and rewarding team to be a part of.

Invitation to the Parents’ Association AGM

The Parents' Association is a committee run by parents and carers of our school whose focus is to build a positive community and school spirit, and to support the work of the Principal and School Council.  The committee represents the voice of parents and friends of the school.

The PA is responsible for many of the events that our students love throughout the year including the Easter Raffle, the Mothers and Fathers’ Day Stalls, Hot Dog Day and handing out icy poles and fruit at sports events. We also support the school’s fundraising initiatives and thank our wonderful staff on “Spoil the Staff Day”.

Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 26th November at 6.30pm in the Conference Room.

This is an excellent time to join the PA as a registered member or Office Bearer.  We have 8 meetings per year, and these are held in the conference room (near reception in the new building). Meetings run for approximately 1 hour and are always attended by our Principal.

If you are interested in joining the Committee, please read through the attached Constitution of Parents’ Association and complete the form on the last page.

Please hand your form into the office by the 25th November.

Being a member of the Parents’ Association is a wonderful way to support the whole school community.  We look forward to welcoming you to the committee.

Thank you and hope to see you at the upcoming events.
