Year 8 Beach Volleyball Victoria Sports Cup

Tuesday 5 March

Our Year 8 students had a wonderful day in the sunshine, representing the school at the Beach Volleyball Victoria Schools Cup. They learned about the game of volleyball, improved their skills throughout the day and had a great time being active with their friends. The Year 8 boys' team went undefeated through the Round Robin stages before losing a tight game in the Semi-Finals. Well done to everyone for giving it a go and playing with tremendous team and school spirit.

Senior Girls Cricket

Thursday 7 March

Congratulations to the Senior Girls cricket team for their outstanding victory in the SMR finals today! Their impressive performance has secured them a well-deserved spot in the upcoming State finals. Best of luck to these talented athletes as they continue to showcase their skills and sportsmanship on the statewide stage.

Year 11 & 12 3x3 Basketball Tournament

Thursday 7 March 

Our Year 11 and Year 12 boys represented Beaumaris Secondary College well competing in the FIBA Basketball Under 20 3X3 Secondary Cup. The college sent 3 teams to compete in the 3x3 tournament. A special congratulations to Lachlan B, Joshua W and Arthur D, who finished 3rd in Division 2 and qualified for the State Championships. Another special congratulations to Jaimes S, Kieran J, Nathan J and Oscar S, who made it to the Semi Finals, putting themselves in a position for Wild Card Selection over the next few weeks for States.
