Manga Drawing Club

This year, a new lunchtime club has started at our school. The Manga Drawing Club was created by two of our Year 6 students, Vivienne and Hana, who wanted to share their passion for drawing with other students.

The club runs every Thursday from 1:45–2:15pm in the 5/6C classroom. Vivienne and Hana teach students how to design and draw manga-style characters. Everyone is welcome to join!

At the end of Term 2, the club is planning to organise a poster display featuring the manga characters designed by the students.

The club began this week and students are already enjoying it. One student shared, “It’s really fun!”Hana also said, “I enjoy helping people draw manga because it helps make people feel happy.”

マンガ描きクラブ

今年から、本校に新しいランチタイムクラブが始まりました。6年生のビビアンさんとはなさんが立ち上げた 「マンガ描きクラブ」 です。二人は、自分たちの好きなことを学校のみんなと共有したいという思いから、このクラブを企画しました。

クラブは 毎週木曜日 13:45～14:15 に5・6Cの教室 で行われています。ビビアンさんとはなさんが、マンガ風のキャラクターのデザインの仕方や描き方を教えてくれます。絵を描くのが好きな人なら、だれでも大歓迎です！

2学期の終わりには、クラブに参加したみんながデザインした マンガキャラクターのポスター展示 を予定しています。

今週さっそく始まったこのクラブに参加した生徒からは、「ほんとうにたのしいよ！」という声も聞こえてきました。はなさんは、「マンガを描くのを手伝うことで、みんなが楽しい気持ちになってくれるのがうれしいです。」と話してくれました。
