A Snowy Experience at Bogong Outdoor School for Stella's Work Experience!
My placement at the Outdoor School was beyond what I expected. I went in nervous as to the tasks that I would be doing but they always had little jobs for me to do and I learnt to enjoy observing. I was paired with different Bogong staff everyday so I found it interesting seeing how their teaching techniques varied.
On the night classes I helped log the gear into their schools hire systems, I helped serve some meals for Phill the chef, assisted in the snow with helping students up when falling, honestly whenever the teachers needed assistance getting someone, something or just any help I would do so! |
The best part of my experience was hearing all of the pathways and stories of the staff at the Bogong Outdoor School. It was super inspiring to see people who have taken the pathways that I am aspiring to take and it made my goals feel reachable and possible. I really enjoyed getting to know the students and visiting staff it really opened my eyes to many different walks of life and I loved that! |

After a few days you should receive another email from Work Based Learning to sign your form - if you haven't received this second email please check in with your employer to find out if they have completed their section!
