Women of STEM Scholarship Programme

The scholarships are for women aged 17 - 20, who are commencing an applicable STEM related University degree in 2027.

To create more opportunities for young women in STEM, ACS Foundation launched the Women of STEM Scholarship Programme in 2023. These scholarships support women aged 17–20 who are entering their first year of a relevant STEM degree at an Australian university.

Students commencing studies in:

Information Technology
Computer Science
Cyber Security
Data Analytics
AI
Astrophysics
Astronomy
Engineering
Environmental Sciences

are eligible to apply.

The Women of STEM Scholarship is a national program that provides financial support of $5,000 per year for the duration of the recipient’s degree, up to a maximum of five years. In 2026, four scholarships were awarded to outstanding female students.
