Fashion Portfolio Workshop
Year 12 students are encouraged to build their confidence and skills at Swinburne’s free Fashion Portfolio Workshop. Learn how to plan, develop and present a portfolio that showcases your creativity and design thinking, with guidance on what universities look for.
Through hands-on activities, students will explore visual research, concept development, fashion illustration and material experimentation while creating their own portfolio piece.
You will also discover how to demonstrate your creative process without needing to produce a final garment.
When: 10am–12pm Tuesday 22 September (check in from 9.30am)
Where: TB225 Swinburne Hawthorn campus
Students must bring a laptop.
Catering provided.
Innovation in Action
As part of the Victorian Challenge and Enrichment Series 2026, Swinburne invites high-ability students in Years 9 to 12 from government schools to join in this hands-on one-day holiday program. Students will push the boundaries, work with design and innovation experts, collaborate with peers and challenge themselves in a fast-paced environment to solve real-world issues.

New Courses introduced in 2026
Swinburne introduced the following courses for the first time this year, and students keen on these areas of study are advised to browse the links provided to learn more.

- Bachelor of Artificial Intelligence in Business
- Bachelor of Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience
- Bachelor of Forensic Psychological Science
Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science/Master of Physiotherapy
Introduced by Swinburne in 2026, the Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science is designed to articulate to the 2-year Master of Physiotherapy. For the first time, these two courses can be applied for through VTAC as a packaged option.
The VTAC Course code is: 3400214301
Students who attain an average mark of 70%+ higher in the Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science, are guaranteed direct entry into the Master of Physiotherapy.
