House Athletics Carnival
On Thursday, August 21, in glorious early spring weather, we held our House Athletics Carnival at the Aero Ovals Little Athletics Complex. There was a good turn-out of students, they were very well-behaved and it was a wonderful day of competition. The age group champions were as follows:

Two records were broken during the day; both by Isabell Alchin.
Isabell broke the 17 year old girls’ triple jump record and the 17 year old girls’ 200m record. A terrific achievement, Isabell; well done!
In the overall House results, Terragong are to be congratulated for being the winning House. The results were as follows:

I would like to express my heart-felt thanks to all the staff, and Rachel Luscombe, who worked so well throughout the day to make the Carnival a success. I would also like to express a huge thank you to Little Athletics, for setting up the timing gates, operating the timing gates all day and assisting in other ways as well.
