Senior Sport Report

On Thursday 12 February, the Albury Swim Centre came alive as we hosted our annual Inter-house Swimming Carnival. The day was filled with competitive races, novelty events, spirited relays and an impressive display of House pride. As always, one of the highlights was the much-anticipated Year 12 vs Staff Relay.

This year, 10 staff members took on 10 of our fastest Year 12 swimmers in a thrilling contest. After nine hard-fought laps - and not a single false start - the staff held a body-length lead for the first time in several years. Mr Nash Clark and Archie Kreutzberger battled out the last 50m, with Archie's race reserve engine being too big for Nash as he turned on the jets in the final 15m, winning by an arm's length.

Congratulations to Rosborough House, crowned Champion House for the fifth consecutive year - an outstanding achievement! 

Well done to all students and staff for making the day such a fantastic celebration of competition, teamwork and House spirit.

CIS Awards

Duke Leslie CIS Red Award

Duke Leslie was a key part of the Primary CIS AFL team in 2025, his participation lead to a very worthy selection in the NSW PSSA AFL team, Duke was nominated by the NSW PSSA coaches for his performance at the national tournament for his level of performance, Congratulation Duke on this highly distinguished award. 

Flynn Mardling CIS Red Award

Flynn’s journey to representing NSW in the PSSA Netball Team followed a slightly different pathway, but it was no less impressive. Nominated by his NSW PSSA coach as an outstanding independent school student within the team, Flynn was awarded the prestigious NSW Combined Independent Schools (CIS) Red Award in recognition of his selection as an elite member of the NSW PSSA Netball Team.
