Kalinda Parents and Friends

Dear Kalinda Families,

The Parents and Friends will run the Easter Raffle again this year and are seeking donations for chocolate eggs in all sizes, chocolate bunnies, lollies, blocks of chocolate, clear cellophane, easter ribbon, wrapping, gift bags, baskets and any other Easter treats.

Please note we can only accept products that contain NO NUTS and are within their use-by-date.

Donations can be brought to the school office from Wednesday, March 11, to Tuesday, March 31 and placed in the labelled basket in the office.

Tickets for the Easter Raffle will be available on QKR from Monday, March 16 until Tuesday, March 31 (11.55 pm).

The profits of this event go back into the school for our students.

This year, we will also have a ‘guess the eggs in the jar’ competition in the office foyer. 

Can you guess how many chocolate eggs are in the jar? Students will let their teachers know their guess to enter into the draw. The student with the correct guess will WIN the jar of chocolate eggs! Guessing ends at 9.30am on Tuesday March 31.

All Easter Raffle and Egg-Jar winners will be announced on Wednesday April 1.

More exciting news, the Kalinda Parents Barefoot Bowls Social Night is fast approaching on Friday March 20 at 7pm, at the Ringwood Bowls Club. Tickets for this event are $25 each and can be purchased on Qkr. If you’ve ever wanted to try Barefoot Bowls, then this is your chance! Grab some parents from the school and get to know your school community better in a fun adults-only night out! 

There is bar onsite for all drinks (alcohol and soft drinks). Bring your own food and snacks, and a sense of humour, and you might even win a prize on the night!

We will need setup helpers at the Ringwood Bowls Club from 11.30am to 1.30pm on Friday March 20.
