Writer’s Workshop: We are starting the term with an illustration study – exploring how authors and illustrators make choices about the style, design and detail included in their illustrations. This is linked with Book Week – A symphony of stories.

Reader’s Workshop: We will be participating in Reader’s Theatre in class. This aims to enhance our skills when reading aloud and invite elements of performance into our reading.

Mathematics: We are currently exploring our multiplication knowledge and recall of these as our primary focus. We will also spend time revisiting the skills needed for addition.

Unit of Inquiry: We have started our first unit of inquiry for this term – How We Express Ourselves, with a focus on performance.
