Great Book Swap
Get Ready for The Great Book Swap!
This term, our school is excited to participate in The Great Book Swap to support the Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF). This fantastic initiative promotes reading and sustainability while raising funds to provide culturally relevant books to children in remote Indigenous communities.
How it works:
Donate: Students bring in a pre-loved book in good condition that they are ready to part with according to the donation guidelines.
Swap: Term 3 Week 7 Monday 31st August – Thursday 3 September, students can browse the collection and choose a "new" favorite to take home.
Donate: We ask for a gold coin donation for each book swapped.
Please drop off any donations to labelled boxes at the front office & in the library by 26th August.

Ping Pong A Thon - Save the Date!
August 14-15, Friday 9.30am - Saturday 9.30am (Week 4, term 3)
The fight for freedom continues next term at the end of week 4, so be sure to put this date in your diary! Of seven years we have raised $87,000. In 2026 we are aiming to get over the 100k!
As a Golden Grove Lutheran Community in 2025 we raised just over $20,000! As a thank you Pong HQ have created a video for us and to show the impact of your donations and our fundraising.
