Year 3–6 Senior Camp – Reminder About Credits

As the Year 3–6 Senior Camp payment is now available in Compass, we would like to remind families to please check whether they have any available credits on their family account that may be applied towards the camp payment.

If you are unsure whether you have a credit available, please contact me before making your camp payment. I am happy to check your account and confirm whether any credit can be applied.

Credits may include Unallocated CSEF, Unallocated Receipts, or Unallocated Credit, including any remaining School Saving Bonus (SSB) credit from 2025.

Please note:

• Unallocated CSEF can only be applied to the student named on the original CSEF application.

• Unallocated Credit or Unallocated Receipts can be allocated to any student within your family.

   

Please email me at helen.hassiotis@education.vic.gov.au with the amount you would like allocated and the student's name and class.

Volunteering in School

To volunteer at Parkhill everyone requires a valid Working With Children Check and has to complete a Volunteer OH&S Induction. We keep a record of those who have fulfilled these important requirements.

Under the Child Safe Standards, ALL volunteers must have an appropriate induction and training in child safety and wellbeing. This includes familiarising themselves with the policies, procedures, and code of conduct outlined in our Child Safety Induction Pack. The induction is completed annually to ensure all volunteers remain up to date with current requirements. 

Your induction is completed online on CompassCheck. If you have not already done so, you will need to register and update your Working with Children Check (WWCC). Once complete, it will save time when signing in at the Compass kiosk as you can sign in with your mobile number!

Please remember to sign in at the Compass kiosk and pick up a visitor lanyard on arrival. You will also need to sign out and return the lanyard when leaving. It is important that we know who is on our school grounds in an emergency.

We appreciate your understanding and compliance with the Department requirements for volunteers working in schools. Together we can ensure that processes are in place to provide a safe environment for everyone.
