🎻 St Kilda Park Primary School Orchestra
The St Kilda Park Primary School Orchestra invites all of our students and parents to join!
This much loved, parent run program is open to any child at the school and has been bringing music to our community for over 12 years.
Founded by musician parents after discovering unused school instruments, the orchestra has since welcomed over 250 students of all abilities. Children perform specially crafted repertoire and have played at concerts, fetes, assemblies, local festivals and nursing homes, while also learning songs that include Boonwurrung and Yorta Yorta language.
🕗 When: Wednesdays, 8:00–8:45am
🎒Who: Recommended from Year 1 upwards
(If your child has just started Foundation, please speak with Michael before or after a session)
👨👩👧Parents: Welcome to stay, participate, or drop off and go
Parents donate to pay for our amazing conductor, and the school generously provides the space and instruments, but additional support is needed to keep the program accessible to all families.
💛 You can help by donating:
- Directly to support the weekly program
- Or via this tax-deductible Australian Cultural Fund project:👉 https://artists.australianculturalfund.org.au/s/project/a2EMn00000cDGfO/st-kilda-park-primary-orchestra-2026
Your support helps ensure every child can participate, regardless of financial circumstances, and keeps this special part of school life thriving.
