Throughout this 1-year course, students will learn what it is like to be part of a clinical team and gain first hand insight into how hospitals and health services operate day to day. Students will work alongside nurses, allied health professionals, and other care staff, contributing to safe, efficient, and person-centred care. Students will develop the skills to support a wide range of essential tasks—transporting patients, maintaining clinical spaces, preparing equipment, and providing practical assistance to health professionals. Everything they learn will help ensure that patients receive timely, coordinated care and that the broader team can perform their roles effectively.
